Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced End-to-End R2R Specialist to join our finance team. The role will be responsible for managing the Record to Report process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and efficient close cycles. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in R2R processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments to optimize reporting outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Record to Report Process Management:
- Manage the end-to-end R2R process, ensuring accurate and timely closing activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
- Prepare, review, and validate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and ensure compliance with GAAP, IFRS, or other relevant accounting standards.
General Ledger (GL) and Reconciliations:
- Oversee GL accounting and maintain reconciliations for key accounts such as fixed assets, inventory, intercompany, and other balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, identifying variances and resolving discrepancies.
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct monthly variance analysis for financial statements and explain major deviations from budget or forecasts.
- Provide financial insights to senior management and other stakeholders by preparing detailed financial reports and analyses.
Accruals and Journal Entries:
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation of accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
- Support periodic review of journal entries to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with internal policies.
Fixed Assets and Depreciation:
- Maintain and oversee fixed asset register, including additions, disposals, and transfers.
- Calculate depreciation expenses and ensure alignment with accounting standards.
Intercompany Transactions and Reconciliations:
- Handle intercompany transactions, ensuring proper documentation, transfer pricing compliance, and reconciliations across entities.
- Assist with intercompany eliminations during consolidation processes.
Compliance and Audit Support:
- Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and answering auditor queries.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and assist in the continuous improvement of R2R processes and SOX compliance.
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the R2R function.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the R2R process and implement best Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CA, or CMA certification is a plus.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in R2R, GL, or financial reporting functions, preferably in a shared services environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and strong Excel skills. Experience with accounting software and financial reporting tools is preferred.
Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other relevant accounting principles.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.
