Technical skills and competencies
Experience: Minimum 7-10 years in IT support, with at least three years of experience in OpenStack environments.
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of OpenStack architecture, services, and deployment models.
Extensive experience with backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes within OpenStack.
Proficiency in Linux systems administration, networking, and virtualization technologies.
Problem-Solving Skills: Proven track record of resolving complex technical issues in enterprise environments.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as OpenStack Certified Administrator (COA), Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), or similar are highly desirable.
Availability: Ability to work in a 24/7 on-call rotation and manage high-severity incidents as needed.
Candidate Profile and competencies
Experience working with large-scale OpenStack deployments in industries like telecommunications, finance, or cloud service providers.
Familiarity with other cloud-native tools and platforms that integrate with OpenStack.
Prior experience in a vendor support role or similar Level 4 support capacity
Ready to work from UAE for ~2-3 years
