Business Development Manager

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our team in Chennai, Hyderabad, or Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the growth of our IT services and software business by identifying new business opportunities, establishing strong client relationships, and expanding our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: Identify and develop new business opportunities in the IT Infrastructure, IT Services, and Software sectors.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients. Understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. Focus on driving the acquisition of new clients as well as expanding opportunities with existing clients.
- Market Research and Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market demands. Use insights to propose new business strategies and optimize sales tactics.
- Proposal and Presentation Management: Prepare and present detailed proposals, presentations, and contracts to potential clients, showcasing the company's services and solutions.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and technical teams to ensure that solutions meet client expectations and are delivered effectively.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and achievements using CRM tools. Report regularly to senior management on progress against targets.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- 3-5 years of experience in business development within the IT Infrastructure, IT Services & Consulting, or IT Software sectors.
- Strong understanding of IT solutions, services, and industry trends.
- Proven track record of success in sales, lead generation, and closing deals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales software.
- Analytical mindset with a goal-oriented approach.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in consultative selling and solution-based sales.
- Familiarity with cloud computing, networking solutions, and software products.
