The Opportunity:


- In this role, you will support the investment team, using your skills and passion for investing to execute due diligence and support the investment process. Collaborating closely with our esteemed Portfolio Managers, the Vice President of M&A, and the M&A Manager, you will delve into, evaluate, and propel forward high-value investment opportunities.


- The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter who is comfortable performing critical analysis in Excel while not letting details slip through the cracks. The role is tailor made for someone who is resourceful, takes initiative, and is passionate about value investing.

What You'll Do:

Your role in the Juniper Group will be pivotal:

- Conducting quantitative and qualitative reviews of acquisition opportunities and supporting the development of the investment rationale.

- Performing financial and commercial due diligence by reviewing financial statements and accounting records to determine they are accurate, and to analyze key financial and operating metrics.

- Assisting in preparation and presentation of Non-Binding Indicative Offers (NBIOs) to target companies.

- Building financial models and other transaction-relevant materials such as the Investment Memorandum and Due Diligence Report to support investment decisions.

- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, finance, and operational teams, to ensure smooth transaction processes.

- Conducting various other tasks such as in-depth market and target company research to support commercial due diligence activities.

- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of market trends and the competitive landscape in the VMS sector.

- Initiating and nurturing contacts with key acquisition prospects to facilitate new opportunities.

Job Requirements:

- Multilingual Proficiency: Fluency in English is essential;

- Professional Experience: A minimum of 2 years in M&A, private equity, venture capital, investment banking or transaction services.

- Educational Background: CA / MBA - Finance from a premier institute. Exposure to the software industry and CFA Certification/enrolment are benefits, but not requirements.

- Drive and Determination: Proactive, with a relentless pursuit of business objectives, combining analytical acuity with a robust networking skillset.

- Team Spirit and Independence: Thrive in both team-driven and independent scenarios within dynamic, high-pressure environments.

- Travel Requirements: Ready to travel 20-30% of the time to meet strategic goals.

- Relocation: To Pune is required.
