Role Overview:

The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales of industrial electric heaters within the chemical, petrochemical, and other process industries. This role requires leveraging an existing network of customers to expand market presence and achieve sales targets. The position is remote, based in Gujarat, and demands a deep understanding of the technical aspects of industrial electric heaters and their applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales and Business Development:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the chemical, petrochemical, and process industries.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective planning and execution.
  1. Technical Expertise:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding the selection, installation, and maintenance of industrial electric heaters.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits and features of the products.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, competitor products, and advancements in technology.
  1. Customer Relationship Management:
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring timely follow-ups and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure seamless order processing and delivery.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights to inform product development and improvement.
  1. Reporting and Documentation:
  • Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions.
  • Utilize CRM software to track and manage sales pipeline and customer information.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales, preferably within the industrial electric heaters sector or related industries.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial electric heaters and their applications in the process industries.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business.
  • Customer Focus: Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel within Gujarat and occasionally to other regions as required.

Performance Metrics:

  • Achievement of sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Number of new business opportunities identified and converted.
  • Accuracy and timeliness of sales reports and documentation.
