Responsibilities:

1) Dealing in all Fixed Income instruments - Government securities, Corporate bonds, CDs, CPs, T-Bills. Execute all orders to get the best price with minimal market impact.

2) Cash Management - Deploy all surplus cash into appropriate instruments in order to maximise the returns on the cash balances, without compromising on safety, liquidity

3) Co-ordinate with CCIL & Internal I.T. Team to ensure all trading systems (i.e. NDS OM, TREPS & CROMS are updated & operational at all times.

4) Ensure that all deals are accurately initiated on the dealing system and liaise with the mid- and back-office for a quick and efficient settlement of all trades.

5) Identify trading opportunities to add stocks in the portfolio and also sell securities in line with the company's investment strategies

6) Identify market trends and developments and assess their impact on the company's portfolio. Give appropriate feedback to the Fund Manager regarding the developments.

7) To have regular Interactions with Peers & Market participants & maintain cordial relation with brokers.

Skills required:

1) Good negotiation skills. Fixed income market is largely an OTC market and hence negotiation skills are important.

2) Good understanding of market movements, liquidity flows, market positioning and their impact on price movements

3) Price impacts of monetary and economic developments

Personal Attributes:

1) Good communication skills.

2) Good Fund Accounting and MIS preparation background.

3) Good knowledge of MS-Office suite products - Excel, Word, Powerpoint
