Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow ITBM OR SPM Developer/Architect with 5 to 10 years of experience to spearhead the development and implementation of IT Business Management solutions on the ServiceNow platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and optimizing ITBM applications, leading complex projects, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design: Architect and design comprehensive ITBM solutions on the ServiceNow platform to address complex business needs. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
Application Development: Develop, configure, and customize ITBM or SPM modules, including Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Financial Management, Demand Management, and Application Portfolio Management (APM).
Integration: Lead the integration of ITBM solutions with other systems and applications. Implement APIs, data connectors, and other integration mechanisms to ensure seamless data flow.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements. Translate these requirements into technical specifications and deliver solutions that drive business value.
Project Management: Manage end-to-end ITBM projects, including planning, execution, testing, and deployment. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow ITBM updates and industry trends. Propose and implement best practices to enhance system performance and user experience.
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, implementation guides, and user manuals.
Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for ITBM applications. Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement necessary fixes or enhancements.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers and team members. Foster a collaborative environment and share knowledge to elevate the team's capabilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications :
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on IT Business Management (ITBM) solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in ServiceNow ITBM modules, including Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Financial Management, Demand Management, and Application Portfolio Management (APM).
- Development Skills: Strong skills in ServiceNow scripting, including JavaScript, Glide API, and business rules. Experience with ServiceNow Studio, UI Policies, and Script Includes.
- Integration Knowledge: Experience with integrating ServiceNow ITBM with other systems using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration technologies.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities with a strong analytical mindset. Ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITBM) are preferred.
