Role Overview
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to oversee corporate sales, travel agents, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) within the hotel industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in driving sales, building strategic partnerships, and achieving revenue targets in these key market segments.
Key Responsibilities:
Corporate Sales:
- Develop and execute strategies to attract and retain corporate clients.
- Negotiate and close contracts with corporate accounts to maximize room nights and revenue.
- Build strong relationships with decision-makers in corporations for repeat business.
Travel Agents:
- Strengthen relationships with travel agents to boost bookings.
- Collaborate with travel partners to create attractive packages and promotions.
- Monitor travel agent performance and provide necessary support to meet sales goals.
MICE Sales:
- Identify and pursue MICE opportunities to drive revenue through events and group bookings.
- Partner with event planners and organizers to position the property as a preferred venue.
- Coordinate with operations teams to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive activities.
- Ensure consistent and effective communication of the property’s offerings and value propositions.
Market Representation:
- Represent the brand at trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Actively promote the property in relevant forums to enhance visibility and business opportunities.
Key Qualifications:
- 5+ years of proven sales experience in the hospitality industry, specifically handling corporate, travel agent, and MICE segments.
- Strong understanding of market trends, customer behaviors, and regional dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office Suite, and sales reporting tools.
- Ability to travel frequently within the region.
