1. Scope of WorkThe Commercial Proposer (Technical Software) in the Software Department is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and technically compliant proposals for software products and solutions. The role involves working closely with software development, product, finance, and sales teams to ensure proposals align with client requirements and company standards. ________________________________________2. Key Responsibilities• Analyze department requirements for software solutions and services.• Prepare detailed technical and commercial proposals using proposal management tools and software platforms.• Collaborate with software development, QA, product, and finance teams to gather accurate technical and pricing inputs.• Ensure proposals are compliant with client requirements, internal standards, and contractual terms.• Maintain proposal templates, databases, and records within the proposal software system.• Support sales teams during bid clarifications, client presentations, and negotiations.• Generate reports, dashboards, and analytics from proposal software for management review.• Recommend process improvements to streamline proposal preparation and enhance quality.3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)• Detail-oriented and accurate• Ability to work under tight deadlines• Strong collaboration across software, product, and finance teams• Proactive, solution-oriented, and client-focused mindset4. Skills & Competencies• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.• 5+ years of experience in proposal preparation, tendering, or estimation for software solutions.• Hands-on experience with proposal management software and MS Office tools.• Strong understanding of software products, licensing, and service pricing models.• Excellent analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
