Head - IT Infrastructure Leadership & Planning:- Define and execute the IT infrastructure roadmap aligned with business and digital transformation goals.- Lead the strategy for on-premises, hybrid, and cloud infrastructure modernization.- Manage budgeting, vendor relationships, technology procurement, and cost optimization.- Drive innovation in IT operations through automation, standardization, and adoption of emerging technologies.Infrastructure Operations Management:- Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, storage, virtualization, networks, and data centers.- Ensure 24x7 uptime, scalability, and performance of critical IT systems and services.- Lead incident, problem, and change management processes to maintain service excellence.- Drive capacity planning, performance monitoring, and disaster recovery strategy.Cloud & Virtualization:- Lead the cloud strategy (AWS, Azure, or GCP) including migration, governance, and cost control.- Manage hybrid environments, ensuring seamless integration and workload optimization.- Oversee virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, etc.) and related infrastructure.Network & Security:- Oversee LAN/WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, firewall, proxy, and perimeter security architecture.- Implement robust identity and access management (IAM) and Zero Trust security models.- Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to ensure adherence to compliance and regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, etc.End-User Computing & Collaboration:- Lead the End User Services team managing devices, collaboration tools (MS Teams, Webex, Zoom), and enterprise mobility.- Oversee Office 365, Exchange, SharePoint, and Azure AD administration.- Ensure user satisfaction, system reliability, and IT service desk efficiency.IT Governance & Compliance:- Establish and maintain IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal and external IT controls.- Implement service delivery KPIs, SLAs, and continuous improvement plans.People & Vendor Management:- Lead and mentor cross-functional IT infrastructure teams across regions.- Manage strategic vendor partnerships, contracts, and performance reviews.- Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning within the IT function.Required Qualifications & Experience:- Bachelors/Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.- 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.- Proven expertise in:Cloud Platforms: Azure, AWS, or GCPNetworking & Security: Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, VPN, ProxySystems & Virtualization: Windows, Linux, VMware, Hyper-VCollaboration & Identity: M365, Azure AD, SSO, MFA, Conditional AccessAutomation & Monitoring: PowerShell, Ansible, SCCM, SolarWinds, ServiceNow- Strong understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and IT governance frameworks.- Experience in managing large-scale IT transformations and multi-location infrastructure.- Excellent leadership, communication, vendor negotiation, and project management skill (ref:iimjobs.com)
