Description :Key Responsibilities :- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java.- Integrate and interact with blockchain APIs / SDKs such as Web3.js, Ethers.js, Web3.py, or Hyperledger Fabric SDK.- Work with smart contracts, handle event-driven logic, and manage blockchain transaction lifecycles.- Implement and maintain secure cryptographic mechanisms including ECDSA, SHA-256, and AES for data protection and key management.- Design and optimize database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or MySQL.- Develop microservices and handle asynchronous processing using Kafka or RabbitMQ.- Containerize and deploy services using Docker and Kubernetes in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.- Collaborate with frontend, blockchain, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end platform functionality.- Ensure system security, scalability, and fault tolerance across distributed systems.- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices and peer review processes.Required Skills & Experience :- 3 to 6 years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js, Java, Go, or Python.- Proven experience integrating with blockchain APIs/SDKs (Web3.js, Ethers.js, Web3.py, Hyperledger Fabric, etc.)- Solid understanding of smart contracts, events, and transaction processing on blockchain networks.- Familiarity with cryptographic algorithms and key management standards (ECDSA, SHA-256, AES).- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, or MySQL.- Experience with microservices architecture, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and asynchronous systems.- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).Preferred / Good-to-Have :- Experience developing or integrating smart contracts using Solidity.- Exposure to DeFi, NFT, or tokenized asset ecosystems.- Understanding of decentralized identity (DID), zero-knowledge proofs, or related blockchain privacy concepts (ref:hirist.tech)
