As VP - B2B at NxtWave, you will be instrumental in expanding our footprint across India's educational landscape. The challenge is to build long-term partnerships with colleges and institutions, introduce them to NxtWave's offerings, and drive high-impact initiatives to scale our business through these channels. You will play a key role in shaping the B2B strategy and taking ownership of revenue growth in this sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and Execute B2B Strategy: Design and implement strategies to build partnerships with educational institutions across India, aligning with the overall business goals of NxtWave.

- Lead College Tie-ups and Partnerships: Establish strong relationships with colleges and universities to promote NxtWave's products and services, ensuring a high adoption rate.

- Drive Sales and Revenue: Take ownership of meeting and exceeding sales targets by driving new business opportunities, handling negotiations, and closing deals with educational partners.

- Lead Generation and Outreach: Develop a robust lead generation strategy by identifying and connecting with college chairpersons and decision-makers through various channels, such as social media, industry networks, and educational forums. Ensure consistent follow-up to convert leads into partnerships.

- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a high-performing B2B sales team, providing direction, mentoring, and fostering a culture of growth and accountability.

- Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure successful implementation of partnerships and smooth delivery of NxtWave's services.

- Monitor Market Trends: Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in the Edtech and education sectors to refine strategies and optimize growth.

- Reporting and Metrics: Regularly track, analyze, and report the performance of B2B initiatives, making data-driven decisions to continuously improve results.

Must Have

- Experience in Edtech: Preferably 8+ years in the Edtech sector, with proven experience in forging partnerships with educational institutions.

- Proven Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and grow a team to achieve ambitious targets.

- Lead Generation Expertise: Strong understanding of lead generation tactics, including how to effectively connect with college chairpersons and top management.

- Strategic Thinker with Execution Skills: Ability to develop and execute B2B strategies while ensuring alignment with broader company goals.

- Excellent Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.

- Willingness to Travel: Open to frequent travel across India to meet with college and university leaders and develop partnerships.

- Results-Oriented: A focus on delivering measurable results and driving continuous growth in business through partnerships
