Executive/ Sr. Executive- Classical Fermentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and sterilize media, buffers, and fermentation equipment.
  • Inoculate microbial cultures using aseptic techniques.
  • Operate and monitor large scale fermenters .
  • Collect and analyse fermentation samples (e.g., OD600, pH, metabolite concentration).
  • Maintain accurate records of fermentation runs and process parameters.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to microbial growth, contamination, or process deviations.
  • Collaborate with downstream processing, quality, and R&D teams.
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of fermentation equipment.
  • Aware to safety protocols, SOPs, and GMP/GLP standards where applicable.

Education:

  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. / Diploma in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Fermentation Technology, or related field.

Experience:

  • 2–8 years of hands-on experience in classical microbial fermentation (industrial or academic).
