Role Overview

As Regional Sales Manager - West, you will lead sales operations across Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, and neighboring states.

The role involves:

- Designing and executing regional sales strategies

- Driving revenue growth and market penetration

- Building and strengthening dealer and channel networks

- Leading and mentoring a team of sales professionals

- This is a strategic, high-visibility role for ambitious leaders with experience in Tyres or adjacent automotive industries such as lubricants, batteries, or spares.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Execution

- Develop and implement sales strategies to exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets.

- Increase penetration in premium two-wheeler tyre and lifestyle categories.

Team Leadership

- Lead, mentor, and motivate Area Sales Managers and Sales Executives.

- Drive accountability and ensure high team productivity.

Market Development

- Identify new business opportunities and expansion markets.

- Track competitor activities and adapt strategies to maintain leadership.

Channel & Dealer Management

- Build and nurture long-term partnerships with dealers, distributors, and retail partners.

- Ensure strong product availability, placement, and visibility across the region.

Performance Monitoring

- Review KPIs and prepare structured performance reports for management.

- Ensure CRM and MIS updates are timely and accurate.

Training & Support

- Conduct product and sales training for sales teams and channel partners.

- Equip partners with tools and knowledge to drive premium brand sales.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work with marketing, product, logistics, and service teams to ensure flawless execution of initiatives.

Workdays: 6-day week; 1st, 3rd, 5th Saturdays WFH

Travel: ~60-65% (2/3rd of time in market)

Geography: West cluster (Maharashtra, Gujarat, MP, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh)

Candidate Profile

Experience: 8-12 years in tyres, lubricants, batteries, or broader automotive industries, with proven managerial experience.

Education: Graduate degree required; MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred.

Leadership: Strong team management, coaching, and performance delivery experience.

Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

Analytical: Strong forecasting, reporting, and market analysis skills.

Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.

Other: Must be willing to travel extensively across Western India.

Mandatory prior experience: Candidate must have handled at least 2 states in past roles
