We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Kafka Developer who has extensive experience in ETL processes and Java/Spring Boot development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance data pipelines and applications. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders to ensure our data and application solutions are efficient, reliable, and scalable.

Key Skills : Expert in Kafka, ETL and Java / Springboot

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable Kafka-based data pipelines.

- Implement and manage ETL processes to handle large volumes of data efficiently.

- Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications to support various business functions.

- Optimize Kafka clusters for performance and scalability.

- Integrate Kafka with other data processing frameworks and storage solutions.

- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and other developers to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.

- Ensure data security, integrity, and governance policies are adhered to in all data engineering processes.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and application performance.

- Monitor and manage Kafka cluster performance, job execution, and resource utilization.

- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Kafka, ETL, and Java/Spring Boot.

- Proven experience in designing and implementing Kafka-based data pipelines.

- Strong proficiency in ETL processes and tools.

- Expertise in Java and Spring Boot framework.

- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development.

- Knowledge of data modeling, data architecture, and data governance.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
