Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented EPC Contract Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our team. The EPC Contract Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the management of engineering, procurement, and construction contracts. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of contract principles, project management, and the EPC industry.


Key Responsibilities:


Contract Management:

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating EPC contracts and subcontracts.
  • Support the monitoring of compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Help identify and mitigate contractual risks.


Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Track project progress and support efforts to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget.
  • Assist in managing changes and variations to contracts.


Stakeholder Communication:

  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to address contractual issues.
  • Contribute to the preparation and presentation of contract status reports to senior management.


Claims and Disputes:

  • Assist in handling claims and disputes related to EPC contracts.
  • Provide support in arbitration and litigation processes if necessary.


Documentation and Compliance:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.


Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in contract management within the EPC industry.
  • Exposure to managing or assisting with large-scale EPC contracts is a plus.


Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of contract law and EPC contract frameworks.
  • Good negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
