The Position

We are looking for a passionate Category Manager to lead profitable business growth for one or more of our core categories.


The Responsibilities (in brief)

  1. Be the voice of the consumer and drive strategy and execution on media as well as revenue channels towards meeting those needs in a timely, effective and financially responsible manner.
  2. Lead growth strategy for the brands, including creating and executing on annual, quarterly and monthly business plans.
  3. Develop and leverage core marketing capabilities in the organization around consumer insights, data analytics, strategic planning, product development, brand communications and channel partnerships.


The Responsibilities (in detail)

  1. Define marketing strategies to support the brand’s overall strategies and objectives
  2. Plan and organize marketing functions and operations (consumer insight gathering, product development, budgeting, channel GTM, communication development etc.), and ensure any marketing execution projects the brand’s unique “voice”
  3. Build a highly effective team of marketing professionals
  4. Create a solid network of strategic partnerships
  5. Align the brand around customer centricity, utilize data insights and analytics to deliver a superior consumer experiences and measurable business results
  6. Develop robust marketing capabilities (e.g., technology fluency, digital expertise, customer data and insights, data analytics) to help the brands compete successfully
  7. Create breakthrough customer offerings and advance marketing by experimenting with new technology platforms, alternative media, new tools and techniques
  8. Act as both architect and steward of the brand by creating and telling brand stories and inviting consumers to participate in the narrative


The Qualifications

  1. At least 4 years of sales & brand management experience in the consumer space. Having worked on a brand team before is compulsory.
  2. A passion for delighting consumers, building brands, creating beautiful products and working with people.
  3. Hands-on experience with digital marketing and emerging technologies.
  4. Solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods.
  5. Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
  6. Willingness and ability to work full-time from the Company's HQ at Thane, near Mumbai. Please apply only if you are fine with the location.
