Position : Information Technology Support EngineerJob Type : Full-timeJob Summary : We are seeking a proactive and skilled Information Technology Support Engineer to be the first point of contact for all IT-related requests. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and possess strong experience in the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Domain. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, from resolving end-user issues to installing new systems and providing technical support.Key Responsibilities : - IT Support & Troubleshooting : Act as the first point of contact for all IT requests received via ServiceNow, phone, and email. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting a wide range of hardware, software, and network systems. Your primary goal is to diagnose and resolve IT issues efficiently to ensure minimal downtime for end-users.- User Training & Documentation : Train end-users on new systems and software to facilitate smooth adoption and proficiency. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for IT processes and common solutions.- System Administration : Administer user access within various systems, including Active Directory (AD). You will also provide support for Microsoft OS, Office Suite, Outlook, and manage basic network services like DNS and DHCP.- IT Project Support : Contribute to various IT-related projects, lending your expertise to ensure successful implementation and deployment.Required Skills & Qualifications : - Education : A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software/IT/EEE Engineering, or a related field.- Domain Expertise : Strong experience in the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Domain is essential.- Technical Proficiency : Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP, Outlook, LAN/WLAN, and basic networking concepts.- Problem-Solving : Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.- Additional Skills (A Plus) : Familiarity with SQL Server, PowerShell scripting, and knowledge of IoT/Digitalization concepts.- Soft Skills : Strong communication and teamwork skills are required to effectively collaborate with end-users and colleagues.
