Summary:

GlobalXperts is looking for a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive Migration and Modernization initiatives leveraging AWS’s Migration Acceleration Program (MAP). This role focuses on identifying, developing, and closing strategic opportunities while collaborating with diverse teams to ensure customer success. The ideal candidate will be a cloud evangelist with strong business acumen and a passion for driving digital transformation.


Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Development and Opportunity Management:
  • Identify, lead, and close new Migration and Modernization opportunities using AWS MAP.
  • Meet or exceed pre-sales revenue targets, contributing to company growth.
  • Customer Engagement and Validation:
  • Collaborate with Account Teams to engage with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  • Validate customer drivers and leverage the proven Assess, Mobilize, Migrate, and Modernize (AMMM) approach to craft tailored solutions.
  • Campaigns and Sales Strategies:
  • Develop and deploy sales campaigns and programs to migrate and modernize on-premises or virtualized infrastructures to AWS.
  • Drive sales engagements with compelling cloud economic value propositions for AWS services.
  • Solution Development and Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Account Managers, Solutions Architects, and AWS Partner Network (APN) Migration Competency Partners to design and present pre-sales solutions.
  • Guide stakeholders, including Customer Success Managers, Professional Services teams, and SI Partners, through post-sales engagement phases.
  • Customer Advocacy:
  • Engage in high-level discussions with customers to understand and address their business challenges through AWS solutions.
  • Represent the company and demonstrate thought leadership at industry events, conferences, and symposiums.
  • Strategic Progress Reporting:
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on the progress of strategic initiatives and business development efforts.


Qualifications:

  • Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven track record in business development, sales, or pre-sales roles, particularly within cloud migration or modernization domains.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, including Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), and cloud economics.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, especially with C-level executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience designing and delivering cloud-based solutions and proposals in collaboration with technical teams.
  • Preferred Experience:
  • Experience working with AWS Partner Network Migration Competency Partners or other strategic alliances.
  • Familiarity with the Assess, Mobilize, Migrate, and Modernize (AMMM) methodology.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex sales cycles and strategic initiatives.
  • Public speaking experience at industry conferences or events.
