Job Title: Channel Sales Manager

Location: Multiple Location Opening

Experience: Minimum 5 years in channel sales, with at least 2 years in a similar role, preferably from solar, or battery sectors.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. New Distributor Appointment: Identify, onboard, and manage new distributors to enhance distribution channels and increase market reach.
  2. Retail Network Expansion: Develop strategies to expand the retail network, targeting growth in underserved areas.
  3. Frontline Team Productivity: Drive and monitor productivity of the frontline team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  4. Targeted Market Share: Achieve targeted market share by formulating and implementing effective sales strategies.
  5. New Product Launch: Oversee successful new product launches in designated markets to maximize visibility and revenue.
  6. Execution of the Marketing Plan: Implement marketing plans in coordination with the marketing team to boost product awareness and drive sales.
  7. Sales Planning and Forecasting: Conduct sales planning and forecasting to align with business goals and adjust strategies as needed.
  8. Branch Management: Manage branch operations to ensure smooth business functioning and achievement of branch objectives.
  9. Team Management: Set and monitor team KPIs, providing guidance and support to ensure alignment with organizational goals.


Functional Competencies:

  1. Sales Channel Expansion and Development: Proven ability to grow sales channels and enhance distribution networks.
  2. Distribution Management: Skilled in managing distributor relationships and optimizing distribution strategies.
  3. Market Understanding: Deep knowledge of market dynamics, customer preferences, and competitor landscape.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in channel sales, specifically in solar or battery sectors, with a strong understanding of distribution networks and retail management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and expand sales teams while achieving and exceeding targets.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
