Channel Sales Manager

Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Channel Sales Manager to build and manage the channel sales network for our small testing equipment products, including electrical and power testing devices. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in channel sales, with a deep understanding of the electrical equipment industry and an established network of industry relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Sales Strategy:Develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy for electrical and testing equipment, with a focus on small testing devices (power, electrical, etc.).Identify and establish strong partnerships with key distributors, resellers, and channel partners to expand market reach and increase sales.Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment on product positioning, pricing, and distribution models.
Market Expansion and Product Launches: Strategize and manage the launch of new products into the market, ensuring proper distribution setup and sales enablement for channel partners.Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth in the channel sales landscape.
Channel Partner Development:Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key channel partners, including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.Train and support channel partners to ensure effective product knowledge, sales strategies, and marketing initiatives are executed.Monitor and assess the performance of channel partners, providing guidance and ensuring that sales targets are met.
Sales Performance Management:Drive sales performance by developing and tracking KPIs, setting sales targets, and implementing corrective actions where necessary.Prepare sales forecasts and reports, providing detailed analysis of channel performance and recommending strategies for improvement.Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate with marketing, product management, and technical teams to ensure the successful positioning of products and maximize sales opportunities.Provide feedback on market needs and customer preferences to aid in product development and refinement.
Qualifications and Experience:Educational Qualification:B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication Engineering (Mandatory).Relevant Experience:Minimum 7-10 years of experience in channel sales, with a proven track record of success in the electrical or testing equipment industry.Deep understanding of the channel sales process, market dynamics, and distribution networks for electrical equipment.Strong relationships with distributors, resellers, and other key stakeholders in the electrical and testing equipment market.
Skills and Competencies:Excellent strategic thinking, with the ability to drive results through effective planning and execution.Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.Proven experience in managing product launches and channel partner training programs.Ability to analyze market trends, competition, and customer needs to identify business opportunities.Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team and channel partners.
