
BrightCHAMPS - Sales/P&L Head - USA

Key Responsibilities
P&L Ownership:
- End-to-end responsibility for revenue, margins, and overall business performance of the assigned vertical.
Revenue Growth & Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the US region to achieve aggressive revenue targets.
- Build and scale a high-performing sales team to optimize lead conversion.
Cost Ownership:
- Own the cost for the US market, ensuring cost efficiency, profitability, and revenue growth.
- Manage customer acquisition costs (CAC), marketing budgets, and operational expenses to improve unit economics.
- Collaborate with the finance team to forecast, budget, and optimize regional financial performance.
Market Expansion & Business Development
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with institutions, corporates, and educational bodies.
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to refine offerings.
- Develop pricing strategies based on demand, competition, and cost considerations.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-impact sales team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Set clear KPIs, monitor team performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and operations teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
Customer Success & Retention
- Improve customer satisfaction and retention through personalized engagement and data-driven insights.
- Work closely with customer success teams to ensure high renewal rates and long-term partnerships.
What will make you fit for the role Pre-requisites:
- 14+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably in the EdTech, SaaS, or online education sector.
- Proven track record of owning and growing a regional P&L with strong cost management.
- Hands-on experience in B2B and B2C sales, including partnerships with universities, corporates, and institutions
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in financial forecasting, budgeting, and optimizing customer acquisition costs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment is a plus.
