HackerEarth also has a community version of the product that is used by developers across the globe, to assess their coding skills, become better at it, and measure their true potential. You are a great fit for this role if you have:
- Proven experience leading high-performing SMB sales teams of Account Executives and Account Managers.
- Strong track record of building outbound-driven opportunity pipelines and driving consistent quota attainment across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and scale teams while balancing frontline selling with leadership responsibilities.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to influence C-level and VP-level decision makers.
- Experience in leveraging CRM, AI tools, and modern sales tech stack (Salesforce, HubSpot, Gong, Clari, Outreach, etc.) to drive productivity.
- Strong ownership mindset, discipline, and ability to balance short-term wins with long-term strategy.
- Proven ability to close large, strategic deals personally while enabling team success.
What you will do in this role at HackerEarth:
- Lead and mentor a team of SMB Account Executives and Account Managers to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Define sales strategies, set clear goals, and ensure predictable pipeline generation with a strong focus on outbound sales.
- Partner with team members in key deals-coaching on discovery, pitch, negotiation, and closing.
- Manage forecasts accurately and ensure quota attainment across the team.
- Build scalable processes and leverage AI-driven tools to enhance team productivity and sales performance.
- Drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities through effective customer engagement and value delivery.
- Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align GTM strategies and improve customer outcomes.
- Represent the SMB sales function in leadership discussions and planning, influencing overall revenue strategy.
What are we looking for in this role?
- 8-12 years of direct SaaS sales experience, with at least 2-4 years in a leadership role managing SMB sales teams.
- Consistent track record of achieving and exceeding quotas-both as an individual contributor and as a leader.
- A disciplined, passionate sales leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong people management skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams.
