Job Summary:

We are searching for a visionary Head of Marketing Business Development - eCommerce leader with a proven track record in driving significant revenue growth, optimizing ROI, and market expansion within the e-commerce industry. This role is crucial to our organization, as it involves spearheading the strategic marketing direction, brand management, sales initiatives, and business development efforts that will shape the future of our e-commerce platform. Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Vision:

  • Craft and Execute Comprehensive Marketing and Sales Strategies:
  • Develop and implement an overarching marketing and sales strategy that aligns with the company’s business objectives, ensuring sustained growth, market dominance, and revenue maximization.
  • Lead the integration of traditional and digital marketing initiatives with sales efforts to create a seamless customer journey that enhances brand equity, drives sales, and optimizes ROI.
  • Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, consumer behavior patterns, and competitive landscape changes, using insights to refine strategies aimed at revenue generation and ROI optimization.
  • Lead efforts to innovate and stay ahead of market trends, ensuring the brand remains relevant, competitive, and profitable.
  • Business Growth and Revenue Planning:
  • Develop long-term growth strategies, including market entry strategies, expansion into new product categories, and the identification of new customer segments, with a focus on generating sales and maximizing ROI.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to set ambitious revenue and growth targets, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Brand Strategy & Management:

  • Brand Positioning & Messaging:
  • Oversee the development and execution of brand positioning strategies that resonate with target audiences and differentiate the brand in a crowded marketplace, driving both brand awareness and sales.
  • Ensure consistency in brand messaging across all channels, maintaining the brand’s voice, tone, and visual identity, while optimizing for sales conversion.
  • Customer-Centric Brand Experience:
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the customer experience, ensuring that all marketing and sales efforts are aligned with customer needs and preferences, leading to increased revenue and customer retention.
  • Develop strategies to build and maintain a loyal customer base, focusing on customer retention, lifetime value, and advocacy, contributing to sustained sales growth.

Digital Marketing Excellence:

  • Digital Transformation Leadership:
  • Spearhead the company’s digital marketing transformation, adopting cutting-edge tools and technologies to optimize marketing efforts, drive sales, and enhance ROI.
  • Lead the development and execution of performance-driven digital marketing campaigns, leveraging SEO/SEM, PPC, social media, email marketing, and content marketing to maximize sales and revenue.
  • Data-Driven Marketing and ROI Optimization:
  • Utilize advanced analytics to track campaign performance, measure ROI, and identify areas for optimization, ensuring that marketing investments yield maximum returns.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making within the marketing team, ensuring that all strategies are backed by robust data, insights, and a focus on revenue generation.

Business Development, Sales & Revenue Optimization:

  • New Business Opportunities:
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including partnerships, alliances, and new market entry, to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure marketing strategies align with sales goals, driving lead generation, conversion, and revenue.
  • Revenue and Sales Growth Optimization:
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize customer acquisition costs, maximize customer lifetime value, and enhance overall profitability and ROI.
  • Lead initiatives to expand into new product categories, geographic regions, and customer segments, driving sustainable revenue growth.

Customer Experience, Retention, and Revenue Generation:

  • Omni-Channel Customer Engagement:
  • Develop and execute strategies that deliver a cohesive customer experience across all touchpoints, including web, mobile, and social platforms, leading to increased sales and revenue.
  • Lead efforts to personalize customer interactions, utilizing advanced segmentation and targeting techniques to deliver relevant and timely content that drives conversions and revenue.
  • Customer Retention, Loyalty Programs, and Revenue Growth:
  • Design and implement customer loyalty programs that increase repeat purchases, foster brand loyalty, and drive revenue.
  • Utilize customer feedback and analytics to continuously improve the customer experience, addressing pain points and enhancing satisfaction, resulting in higher sales and ROI.

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Building a High-Performance Team:
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team of marketing and sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment focused on revenue generation and ROI.
  • Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics for the team, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and revenue targets.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product development, sales, customer service, and other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to business growth, sales, and revenue optimization.
  • Act as a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company with a focus on sales and revenue growth.

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is strongly preferred.
  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 5+ years of progressive marketing and sales experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the e-commerce industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading large-scale marketing and sales initiatives that have resulted in significant business growth, revenue generation, and optimized ROI.
  • Proven track record in digital marketing, with deep expertise in SEO, SEM, PPC, social media, data-driven marketing strategies, and sales growth.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in building and leading high-performance teams focused on sales and revenue.
