This position reports to

Sales Support Manager - Customer Support

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Motion IEC LV Motors Division in Bangalore. In this role you will be reporting to Global Customer Support Manager.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Solve Enquiries in given time limits.
Pre order documentation and solve a technical issue in assigned area of responsibility.
Support Front End Sales in technical discussion with customer.
Prepares and delivers technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues.
Supports the Sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with 4+ years of experience in Sales support/Technical support.
  • Good understanding of construction and theory of induction motors.
  • Induction motor design experience preferred.
  • Preparation of technical datasheets, writing Comments and Deviations as per customer specification
  • Working knowledge on Induction motor enquiries from OEM's, EPC's, End users
  • Knowledge of IS and IEC standards.
  • Knowledge of Hazardous area motors and testing requirements of the Induction motor.
  • Understanding of Dimensional drawings and Bill of material.
