About the role

This role calls for an individual who can own all aspects of the line haul business from sourcing the vehicles from fleet owners or brokers to leading the sales team to onboard clients and running day to day operations essentially owning P&L for the entire upcountry business. The candidate will be working closely with the AVP - Business & Operations, and the COO of the company.

Role and Responsibilities:

- Responsible for building a large network of fleet owners and brokers.

- Responsible for running day to day operations.

- Instrumental in building and leading the entire operations and customer support team.

- Responsible for building processes and systems to minimize leakages in revenue, margin.

- Responsible for final negotiations / deal closure meeting (client side)

- Instrumental in building relevant product features in coordination with the product team

KPIs:

- Revenue from the Linehaul vertical

- Gross Margins of LH

- Customer and Partner NPS

- Overheads of the LH vertical

- DSO or collections

- EBITDA

Requisites / Prerequisites:

- Graduates or master's degree in management

- Must have run profitable mid or large size transportation business

- Should have deep knowledge of line haul transportation in India

- Should have strong network of fleet owners or brokers

- Should have handled large and senior teams in the past

- Frugal mindset

- Multicultural exposure will be a plus (South, north, east and west)

- Should be keen on traveling whenever needed to ensure growth of the LH business

- Must have been part of aggregation business

Preferred Industries: Traditional line haul business like TCI, ARC, etc, 3 PL (Profitable) companies like TVS logistics
