Job Summary :
- For the online PG Business, we are seeking a Head - Direct Sales (SME).

- The PG Business enables the company to charter into new territories to scale and monetize our capabilities. With growing digitization, opportunities and new customer segments, this role will offer exciting opportunities to build new ecosystems.

- The position would involve managing a large team in addition to allowing millions of small and medium-sized Indian businesses to use company's payments platform, which is revolutionizing the country's business requirements for money movement.

About the Client : Our client is one of the biggest, well-established fintech organizations in the country.

Key Responsibilities :

- It is a large team handling role - The incumbent would have to focus on team mobilization, increasing sales pipeline, networking with merchant leadership teams, and having strong negotiating skills in addition to overseeing a team of more than 300 people and central support team members.

- To ensure the success of the business, Incumbent must make decisions that are strongly supported by data and adjust, when necessary, via Identification of new business opportunities, categories, create a vision for the growing business.

- Together by working closely with cross-functional partners, he or she would also be tasked with developing a solid operational and product roadmap for the SME market. In an industry that is competitive and constantly evolving, the position would offer chances to create unique concepts, methods, and solutions.

- Interacting and pitch company products with key decision makers, C-Suite in partner organizations. Identify emerging categories and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status Strong business acumen and product expertise.

- Drive new acquisitions for the Payment gateway with the intent of increasing business adoption and market penetration in the SMEs.

- Create, oversee, and guide a sizable inside sales staff and motivate and utilize industry best practices for processes, success measures, and technology platforms that boost productivity to lead an effective, motivated inside sales staff.

- Monitor and report on important company KPIs; conduct market research; enhance comprehension of client personas; and constantly refine the sales presentation.

- Collaborate with recruiting teams, cross-functional teams, senior management, and other pertinent stakeholders to anticipate and oversee business needs.

The successful applicant :

- At least 8 to 10 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management.

- Minimum 6 years of experience supervising and managing a sales-related business acquisition team.

- Relevant experience in Fintech, preferably in PG/online payments would be an advantage.

- MBA from top-tier institute.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Must work well in a team environment as well as with their peers.

- A self-starter who can work own new initiatives / horizontal charters independently.

- Strong interpersonal skills & vision to lead a growing business to fruition.
