Role Overview:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director – Business Development to lead and grow our IT Services Sales efforts. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for front-end business development, closing large-value deals, and elevating Astek and Simelabs' brand presence in India, especially within the life sciences and healthcare sectors.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for IT services in the global market, particularly the US, Europe, and APAC regions.Identify, engage, and convert new clients in target industries such as healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and medical technology.Drive large-value deal closures through consultative selling and C-level engagement.Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders and decision-makers.Collaborate closely with the delivery and presales teams to shape winning proposals.Represent and amplify the Astek-Simelabs brand in India through strategic partnerships, events, and networking.Provide thought leadership and market insights to shape service offerings and innovation strategy.Build and mentor a high-performing business development team over time.Requirements:12+ years of experience in IT services sales, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or director-level role.Proven track record of closing large deals in international markets.Strong exposure to life sciences, healthcare, or med-tech domains (preferred).Excellent understanding of global IT services landscape, especially digital transformation, cloud, data, and application development.Demonstrated ability to work independently, drive results, and influence senior stakeholders.Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Willingness to travel internationally as required.What We Offer:A dynamic and collaborative environment within a fast-growing global group (Astek).Opportunity to shape and lead the India growth strategy.Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives.Global exposure and opportunities to work with cutting-edge technologies and global clients.
