Job Purpose:
Own and grow shopping category through strategic assortment, vendor partnerships, and profitability optimization to meet customer needs and business goals.
Key Responsibility:
•Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and consumer preferences, translating insights into actionable plans.
•Design and implement comprehensive category management strategies to achieve business goals and expand market presence.
•Lead new product launches and lifecycle management within the Shopping category and Dining.
•Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and shopper insights to identify growth opportunities..
•Lead vendor negotiations to secure cost efficiencies, optimize margins, and enhance vendor partnerships.
•Partner with marketing teams to define product messaging, positioning, and promotional strategies aligned with brand objectives.
•Formulate and execute pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to optimize profitability, balancing consumer value perception and market dynamics.
•Stay abreast of industry innovations, competitor activities, and new technologies to provide forward-looking recommendations to senior management
•Evaluate customer feedback and implement enhancements to improve overall customer experience and loyalty.
Experience
•3+ years of experience as a Category Manager in Shopping /Dinning
e-commerce.
•Proven experience in managing partnerships and driving
category growth

Category Growth & Profitability: Achieve sustained revenue and margin growth through strategic assortment planning, supplier negotiations, and effective inventory management.
Portfolio Optimization: Continuously refine and expand the category mix to meet customer demand, drive higher adoption, and strengthen competitive positioning.
