The reports must be accurate, complete, and compliant with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, such as the Indian Accounting Standards.Budgeting and forecasting: Coordinate the company's budgeting process, prepare annual budgets and periodic forecasts, and monitor actual performance against the budget.Cash flow and treasury management: Manage the company's cash flow, including banking and treasury operations, to ensure adequate liquidity for daily operations. This may involve managing investments in fixed deposits and mutual funds.Compliance and audits: Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, standards, and company policies, including GST and TDS. The executive would also handle internal and external audits.Accounts payable and receivable: Oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, such as processing vendor and employee payments and managing accounts payable and receivable.Financial systems: Evaluate and improve financial systems and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency, potentially leveraging technology to automate routine tasks. QualificationsA bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is typically required.Relevant professional certifications, such as Chartered Accountant (CA), are often preferred.Candidates would need several years of experience in financial management or accounting.
