Role Overview
We seek a BDM with strong experience in government software sales, bid management, and GeM portal participation. The role focuses on tenders, RFP responses, and solution-based selling to public sector clients.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in government-focused software sales.
- Strong skills in tendering, bid management, and GeM portal bidding is a must.
- Experience preparing RFP/RFI responses and proposals.
- Ability to deliver demos and sales presentations to government teams.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Strong relationship-building skills across public sector departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue software opportunities in the government sector.
- Manage tenders, bids, and all related documentation.
- Lead GeM portal bidding and track new opportunities.
- Analyze requirements and coordinate with technical teams.
- Prepare RFP/RFI responses and techno-commercial proposals.
- Deliver product demos and presentations to government clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with key officials.
- Collaborate with internal teams for submissions and closures.
- Track government IT trends and upcoming opportunities.
