Role Overview

We seek a BDM with strong experience in government software sales, bid management, and GeM portal participation. The role focuses on tenders, RFP responses, and solution-based selling to public sector clients.


Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in government-focused software sales.
  • Strong skills in tendering, bid management, and GeM portal bidding is a must.
  • Experience preparing RFP/RFI responses and proposals.
  • Ability to deliver demos and sales presentations to government teams.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and negotiation abilities.
  • Strong relationship-building skills across public sector departments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue software opportunities in the government sector.
  • Manage tenders, bids, and all related documentation.
  • Lead GeM portal bidding and track new opportunities.
  • Analyze requirements and coordinate with technical teams.
  • Prepare RFP/RFI responses and techno-commercial proposals.
  • Deliver product demos and presentations to government clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key officials.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for submissions and closures.
  • Track government IT trends and upcoming opportunities.
