Purpose of Job:

The main goal of this role is to provide leadership and strategic direction to the company's sales program. This includes acquiring new consumers, expanding opportunities within the current consumer base, and introducing new product offerings.

As a member of the executive management team, the individual will be responsible for all sales-related activities and ensuring sales performance aligns with the overall business strategy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:
  • Oversee all sales department activities, including account management, operations, customer support, and field marketing.
  • Set departmental KPIs and evaluate sales initiatives' effectiveness to achieve overall sales and business targets.
  • Mentor sales department staff for their professional growth and support them in executing their responsibilities.
  • Strategy:
  • Lead strategy development for the sales department, ensuring alignment with the company's overarching strategy.
  • Enhance sales revenue through tailored strategies for various business verticals, sales channels, and services.
  • Manage the sales process from relationship development to contract finalization to meet revenue targets.
  • Analytics:
  • Conduct business, performance, and competitive analyses.
  • Track and assess sales results against targets to determine the effectiveness of initiatives and implement necessary changes.
  • Forecast and monitor sales performance and compliance, presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge and Opportunity:
  • Stay informed about the industry, competitors, and regulations.
  • Research trends and best practices to drive competitive initiatives and attract top talent for the sales department.
  • Implement new sales strategies based on research and contribute to key personnel recruitment.
  • Relationships:
  • Build relationships within the business's market and maintain long-term connections with consumers and partners.
  • Negotiate sales transactions, agreements, and partnerships.
  • Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with other executives and departments to align efforts, manage budgets, and recruit sales personnel effectively.

Qualifications:

At least X years of core sales experience Strong analytical skills PG in MBA with any specialization.
