Hoymiles has a significant R&D team to design and manufacture state-of-the art microinverter & hybird inverter for the international markets.
To develop our business in India and deliver better service to our customer, build a strong technical support structure we are looking for an experiencedTechnical support engineer for Pre-Sales activities and After-Sales Services in India, reporting to head of technical support HQ and dot-line report to Asia Sales Director.
Major responsibilities:
After sales:
- Maintain the service level and fulfill the service request coming from local customer especially some of our VIP customer.
- Establish the internal and external training system, localize training materials.
- Lead the negotiation with local service partner including 3rd party service company, logistic and warehouse vendor, manage the contract with local service partner including but not limited to draft, re-new, termination.
- Follow RMA process to make sure they will be closed on-time.
- Responsible for developing solutions to optimize the local service quality including technical guidance, service respond time, spare unit pool management, faulty unit disposal, total costs.
- Provide service reports to HQ on a regular basis.
- Complete temporary task released by head of technical support HQ or Asian Sales Director
Pre-sales:
- Collaborate with sales team to plan and complete technical exchange with Indian customers, train clients and set forth detailed technical solutions etc.
- Prepare presentation documents, technical explanation and other related files including bidding documents to maintain the customer satisfaction and service level.
- Analyze legal technical requirements and certifications for defined countries and drive execution of agreed and required certificates.
- Monitor market environment and provide competitive information.
- Analyze product and features of competitors regular and work closely with HQ team to finish the competitive analysis.
- Strong support to sales team, visit clients and project sites, support system planning and give guidance to PV system installations, service strategy implementation etc.
- Coordinate with sales team to organize training sessions, attend exhibitions.
Required experience and competence:
- Based in India and can accept national and international travel to make sure the local service team deliver a good service, depends on business request.
- HBO diploma in an Electro-technical direction and / or a qualified education within the solar energy industry.
- At least 3 years technical background work experience, renewable industry would be preferred.
- At least 1 years professional experience in working with inverter technologies, e.g. R&D, service, pre- and post-sales, string inverters industry would be preferred.
- Self-driven working mind set, willing to dig in and find out problems, report with clear logic, always providing multi proposals to choose from.
- International mindset for a multi-cultural environment.
- Fluent in Hindi & English.
