About the role:

We are seeking an Associate Brand Manager to join the marketing team at Aravalii.

Brand Aravalii is in its developmental phase, and we need a team member with a track record of building beloved brands in India. This experience could be from consumer-facing brands in FMCG, D2C, marketplace, or tech sectors. You should be adept at structuring brand strategy and annual plans, and securing the right resources to execute them by collaborating with cross-functional teams across the organization. You excel at taking ambiguous problems and providing clear direction forward.

You have led major mainline and digital campaigns that have driven brand health metrics such as consideration and preference, while also generating positive sentiment and consumer love for the brand. You are equally at ease with data analysis and insights sessions as you are with inspiring and brainstorming with creative partners. You thrive on user insights and enjoy frequently engaging with consumers. Your decisions are anchored in conviction derived from user feedback, data, or industry best practices.

You are capable of independently managing large multi-functional projects, leading insights, social, product, business, and media teams towards a common goal. You focus on marketing input metrics and are comfortable driving both short-term business outcomes and long-term brand success.

What You Will Do:

  • Brand Strategy and Annual Planning : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop both on-app and off-app communications for new launches, key brand equity campaigns, and smaller topical or regional initiatives. Ensure brand personality and tone of voice are consistently refined across all touchpoints.
  • Problem Identification : Regularly monitor the brand's progress on key equity parameters and platform metrics. Identify gaps or opportunities based on these data points, and validate findings with user insights and external intelligence.
  • Lead Cross-functional Initiatives : Develop value propositions both online and offline, and drive their go-to-market strategies by leading cross-functional teams, including analytics, growth, design, creative, product, media, social, and external creative partners.
  • Campaign Design & Execution : Partner with internal teams and external creative and media agencies to design and implement marketing campaigns for both offline and online platforms. Track campaign efficiency and effectiveness, providing reports as needed.
  • Media Strategy and Planning : Collaborate with the media team and partners to develop the right distribution strategy, co-create comprehensive and impactful associations, and measure and adjust performance as necessary.

What You Will Need

  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Core Brand Management for national brands
  • Track record of campaigns that were loved by users and drove business results
  • Background of FMCG, D2C or Tech Brands in India is preferred
