Strategy Analyst

The Strategy Analyst will support the Growth Strategy and Operations (S&O) team in analyzing data and determining business insights that support customer, product, financial, and operational goals, while managing dashboards for monthly, quarterly, and annual performance metrics.
This role partners with cross-functional business units to manage datasets and visualizations for regular reporting to the Executive Management Team (EMT) and the CEO.
The Strategy Analyst will work with the team to formulate business intelligence needs that support our Growth Strategy, go-to-market decision making, and the team's performance against business goals.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe Strategy Analyst will leverage data and insights and support the team to discover avenues for growth and optimized performance.
This role should have strong quantitative skills paired with strategic thinking.The role will be cross-functional, collaborating with the sales organization, customer support and operations teams to discuss, implement and execute data-driven strategies, monitor, and recalibrate.
The Strategy Analyst should drive towards actionable results to develop, expand and unlock growth opportunities and be adept at financial data underpinning the business and the team's success.Support day-to-day requirements to improve data insights around organizational performance, business and financial progress, and advancement of strategic dataCollate and create analytics measurements to support strategic and tactical Growth and Strategy needs covering multiple views of teams, geographies, products, and differentSupport Marketing performance initiatives and target dashboards, campaign measurement framework, Growth strategic programs, campaign tracking, life cycle retention programs and other initiatives.
Support ongoing Growth projects in partnership with Sales, Services, Finance, and IT resources.Provide standard dashboard and metric tools used for monthly and quarterly reporting, forecasting, business reviews, leadership updates and ad hoc performance inquiries.
Support Growth data analytics operating mechanism discussions and team operating requirements.While the job description describes what is anticipated as the requirements of the position, the job requirements are subject to change based upon any changing needs and requirements of the business.
Required SkillsWorking knowledge in SFDC or equivalent CRM platformsHigh proficiency in performing database analyses, spreadsheet development, and data integration including Python, VBA, and R Scripts developmentPC proficiency in windows-based software including Excel, PowerPoint, MSWordAbility to communicate effectively in both oral and written formDemonstrated ability to create, follow and complete a project plan; work to designated deadlines and communicate progress as necessaryAbility to work successfully as a member of a team and independently with moderate supervision (self-starter)4 Year / Bachelor Degree or Equivalent in a Science or Business field of studyMinimum: 2 years experience as a business consultant, Strategy and Ops analyst, or corporate analytics analyst role
Required ExperienceBachelor's degree in data analytics or technical field required.2+ years of management consulting or related field where business data analysis and problem solving were utilizedExperience using Large Language Models (LLM), Generative Pre-training Transformer (GPT), or related AI tools to support business and dataExcellent data fluency.
Experience working with data visualization platforms such as Microsoft PowerBI and TableauExperience in Intelligent Automation and/or business process automation software a plus.
Advanced data analysis skills including:
Ability to write Python scripts from scratch to performtasks such as:
Reading csv and Excel files using PandasCreating data visualizations for executive audiences using Seaborn and MatplotlibBuilding generalized linear models using scikit-learnMerging, melting, pivoting, and generally handling multiple datasets using Pandas
Ability to write R scripts from scratch to perform tasks such as:
Conduct basic statistical significance tests, such as t-testsBuild data visualizations for executive audiences using ggplot2 and leaflet
Ability to write VBA code from scratch to automate processes in Excel filesAbility to leverage Power BI to do tasks such as:
Connect to multiple datasets between SharePoint, Salesforce, and SSAS tabular modelsConduct data preprocessing in Power Query (M)Build data models and relationships between datasets using concepts like primary keys and foreign keysPublish dashboard visualizations for executive audiences such as pie charts, bar charts, tables, with a focus on visualizing trends over timeCreate custom measures and calculated columns using complex DAX expressions (e.g., CALCULATE, EARLIER, ALLEXCEPT, AVERAGEX, SUMX, etc.)
