Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Team Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve or exceed sales targets for your assigned territory or product line.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and coach a team of sales representatives to achieve individual and team sales goals.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative sales team environment, providing ongoing motivation and support.
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the sales team's performance, ensuring alignment with companywide objectives.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of the curve and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Establish clear sales targets, quotas, and performance metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle for your team, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing deals.

Client Management & Relationship Building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges within your territory.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze sales data and reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within your team's performance.
  • Develop and present sales reports to provide insights to senior management.
  • Bachelor/ masters degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • 25 years of experience in sales management, preferably within the industry.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and building high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales methodologies, processes, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and manage client expectations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with CRM software (a plus).
