Amazon is seeking a Strategic Analyst and Sales Specialist to drive brand partnerships and consumable affordability initiatives under its omnichannel Amazon Pay ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of business development, strategic planning, and key account management, and plays a pivotal role in shaping the direct funding model that fuels consumer affordability campaigns across both Amazon.in and Fintex (offline merchant) networks.

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to scale funding partnerships with leading brands, negotiating compelling offers that drive affordability in e-commerce and retail settings. 

Key Responsibilities: - 

  • Strategically onboard Key Accounts and Brands onto Amazon Pay's Direct Funding Model, enabling scalable consumable affordability initiatives.
  • Own and manage end-to-end brand relationships, driving continuous participation in centrally sourced IBD & NCEMI campaigns.
  • Act as a Strategic Analyst to evaluate brand performance data, analyze offer impact, and shape data-driven strategies that influence future business decisions.
  • Develop deep partnerships with brand-side affordability POCs, aligning their goals with Amazon's omnichannel growth strategy.
  • Partner with internal teams including Category, Finance, Operations, Smart Stores, and Bank Alliances to deliver joint goals and seamless offer execution.
  • Benchmark and ensure competitiveness in affordability offers across online and Fintex (offline) channels, aligning with the broader omnichannel strategy.

A day in the life

  • Start by engaging with brand stakeholders, pitching affordability campaigns while showing ROI through cost-saving metrics.
  • Coordinate with Category teams to expand your key accounts pipeline.
  • Post-lunch may involve reviewing brand performance analytics or forecasting ROI from ongoing NCEMI/IBD offers.
  • Close the day aligning with internal teams (Finance, Ops, Biz Dev) to optimize execution and resolve bottlenecks in the omnichannel ecosystem.

About the team

The Amazon Pay Omnichannel Affordability team centralizes IBD and NCEMI campaigns through strategic agreements with brands and banks. As a Payment Aggregator, we're building on models pioneered by players like Pine Labs and PayU, aiming to bridge the gap between online affordability and Fintex retail innovation.

Basic qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, key account management, or brand partnerships
  • Proven track record of negotiating strategic agreements with large stakeholders and senior brand leaders
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills; ability to craft compelling data-backed narratives
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and pivot strategies based on real-time performance and market signals
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation and managing brand or banking partnerships

Preferred qualifications: -

  • Hands-on experience managing consumer affordability campaigns
  • Experience in e-commerce or omnichannel retail partnerships
  • Exposure to Fintex models or working with offline merchant ecosystems
  • Proven capability to act as a strategic analyst in a fast-paced, cross-functional team
