We are seeking a Remote Operations Manager to take charge of our day-to-day business operations. This critical, high-impact role requires a person who is adept at getting things done efficiently and effectively behind the scenes, ensuring smooth business function and exceptional service delivery.While a technical background is essential, your primary focus will be on management, process optimization, and operational strategy. You will lead teams, manage workflows, and ensure we meet our business goals while reporting directly to the General Manager.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Operations Manager will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of the company's daily business operations, including but not limited to:Operational Leadership: Manage and oversee the end-to-end day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring operational excellence across all departments.Team Management & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and manage various operational and technical support teams, ensuring high performance, productivity, and professional growth.Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement in existing workflows and processes. Design and implement new, efficient operational strategies to scale the business effectively.Resource Management: Oversee resource allocation, including staffing and scheduling, to meet business demands and maintain high service quality.Performance Metrics: Develop, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to the General Manager, ensuring accountability and driving continuous improvement.Interdepartmental Collaboration: Act as the central liaison between technical teams, management, and other departments to ensure strategic alignment and seamless project execution.Technical Oversight (as needed): Leverage your technical background to guide teams in addressing complex issues and understanding service delivery requirements.What We're Looking ForExperience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience as an Operations Manager, preferably within the Information Technology (IT) or Telecommunications industry.Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Information Technology, or a related field is highly preferred.Leadership & Execution: Proven ability to not just manage, but to execute and drive results, demonstrating a "get things done" mindset.Technical Fluency: A strong understanding of IT services, technical support environments, and the challenges associated with technical product delivery Strategic Thinking: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate strategic goals into operational reality.Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for clear reporting, documentation, and team guidance in a remote environment.Compensation and BenefitsCompensation: $1,800 - $2,000 CAD/Monthly (Commensurate with experience and proven track record).Flexible Schedule: We support a work-life balance with a flexible work schedule.Health Benefits: Comprehensive Health Benefits package.Remote Work: Full-time, Work-From-Home position.How to ApplyIf you are ready to apply your extensive operations and management experience to drive the success of a growing Canadian IT company, please submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant experience at hiring@jetstreament.comWe look forward to hearing how you can help us achieve operational excellence
