Sr Manager - Coal Trade
Warburttons has been retained to identify a Sr. Manager Coal Trade by our client who is a large Indian conglomerate with business interests in manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, retail, hospitality, mining & trading.
As a Sr. Manager Coal Trade, you will:
- Lead the Business Development in Coal Trade by developing strategic relationship with new & existing institutions at West & East Coast Ports India
- Understand the technical know how of Major Consumers Energy requirement & process including Cement, Steel & target end consumers & to suggest best fit fuel solutions for clients
- Develop strategic business relations by understanding & bridging long term orders & by keeping constant watch of clients monthly & annual requirements with seasonal effects to deliver repeated business.
- Understand the Port Operations Including Import Procedures & coordinate with Port Team for required operational support& timely deliverables
- Keep constant updates on feasibility study of major fuel consumers to arrive at commercial decision on timely purchase & sale of coal
- Keep close watch on records of port & institute stock & upcoming lined up stocks to understand the requirements to help generating potential business opportunities
- Be updated on the Global News influencing fuel prices & ocean freights & make strategy to book timely purchase & sales orders.
The Successful Applicant:
- Graduates/PG with minimum 5 years of experience in Physical Commodity Trading with high proficiency in Coal Trade Operations at West or East Ports India
- Handled minimum Coal Trade of 150 K MT in any of last 2 Financial Years
- Experience in leading a team
- Willing to operate from Nagpur, Maharashtra
