This position requires aseasoned professional with extensive experience in Defence sales, a strategic mindset, and the ability to lead and mentor a high-performance sales team.Core Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership in the development and execution of the Defence sales strategy. Collaborate with senior management to align sales goals with overall business objectives. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, government officials, Defence agencies, and major Defencecontractors. Seeding product requirements at both HQ level and also in Command & Corps HQs of Army, Navy & Air Force. Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, addressing their needs and ensuring high levels of customersatisfaction. Lead and mentor a team of Defence sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed. Set performance targets, conduct regular performance reviews, and contribute to professional development plans forteam members. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Defence sector, including partnerships, alliances, andstrategic collaborations. Drive the expansion of the Defence sales portfolio and explore diversification opportunities. Oversee the negotiation of Defence contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Hands on experience of handling complete tender procurement cycle in Army / Navy / Air Force starting from preparingresponse to RFI/EOI/RFP, formulating technical & commercial bids, conducting trials, participation in price negotiation
