Simultaneously, it helps manufacturers widen market reach with steady Direct-To-Consumer (D2C) business volumes. We assume active trade positions within the supply chain, through an inventory-based business model, to facilitate transactions between the buyer and the seller. 

 

Role description:  

As the CEO of the International business division at Brick2wall, you will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and overall management of our steel exports/ imports business. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, you will drive growth and expansion of our international market presence in the steel industry. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Develop and execute the division's strategic vision, mission, and objectives, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives. 
  2. Lead the identification of new market opportunities and expansion strategies for steel exports/imports, leveraging market research and analysis to drive growth. 
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with international partners, customers, and stakeholders to facilitate market entry and expansion. 
  4. Direct the development of export/import sales/procurement and marketing strategies, including pricing, promotion, and distribution channels, to maximize revenue and profitability. 
  5. Oversee the negotiation of contracts, agreements, and partnerships with overseas clients and domestic/ international suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company. 
  6. Provide leadership and direction to the export/import team, including recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development. 
  7. Drive operational excellence and efficiency in export processes, logistics, and supply chain management to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. 
  8. Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify risks and opportunities for the business. 
  9. Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, tariffs, export controls, and customs requirements in all export activities. 
  10. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility, network with key stakeholders, and promote business growth. 

 

 

Qualifications: 

  1. MBA or equivalent advanced degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or related field.  
  2. Proven track record of 10+ years in senior leadership roles, with significant experience in international business, export management, and the steel industry. 
  3. Deep understanding of global markets, trade dynamics, and export regulations, with a successful track record of expanding market presence and driving revenue growth. 
  4. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower teams to achieve goals and objectives. 
  5. Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. 
  6. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. 
  7. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering business outcomes and driving continuous improvement. 
  8. Proficiency in export documentation, INCOTERMS, international shipping procedures, and trade finance. 
  9. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
