Role Description
Husk is seeking an experienced leader for the role of Vice President of Marketing in India. This individual will play an integral role in the creating company-wide Go-to-market strategy by first conducting data/evidence-based research and deriving insights about customer segments, and product/services offering for these customer segments. You will be responsible to drive acquisition of customers by designing creative campaigns, benchmarking performance of all campaigns, effectively utilizing marketing analytics and ultimately driving the initiatives responsible for attracting potential customers. The candidate is expected to drive sales through effective digital, social and offline marketing, manage and motivate the team under her/him. The candidate is expected to analyse the effectiveness of various GTM strategies on a weekly and monthly basis, spot trends and act on them quickly. We are looking for someone who has built effective GTM strategy and is hands-on when it comes to implementing GTM strategy on the ground in rural parts of the world.

Responsibilities
• Lead market research and derive actionable customers insights
• Devise GTM strategy based on data-based market research
• Create brand, awareness, interest funnel: digital and offline
• Design and implement customer referral and loyalty programs
• Lead content and communication strategy
• Drive campaigns and offers
• Develop and leverage networks of relevant parties in the marketing ecosystem
• Drive analytics-based business decisions
• Own customer satisfaction and customer delight metrics
• Able to prepare appropriate budget to succeed with the GTM strategy
• Knowledge of latest market trends and transactions in energy and utility sectors
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• MBA in Marketing from Tier 1/Tier 2 institutes is strongly preferred.
• 7+ years of total experience in Consumer Marketing function (B2C) with 2+ years in digital
marketing across FMCG, rural retail or E-commerce industries.
• Strong in storytelling and have excellent communication skills in Hindi and English
• Ability to build a stellar team by recruiting from your own network
• Analytically inclined individual with ability to run numbers to determine ROI and effectiveness of campaigns.

• Influential Leader. Knows how to build, communicate and defend a position and has a demonstrated ability to engage and influence others—up, down and across—to effectively lead
• Team and third-party stakeholders’ management experience in high growth
• Organizations Experience in utility/power sector, telecom or oil and gas sector preferred
Location and Travel
• Mumbai with monthly travel to Patna.
