BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s in pharmacy/graduation in any Science stream, Masters in Pharmacy/post-graduation in science stream.
- 10-15 years of experience with a majority in Commercial excellence and MIS.
- Strong analytical background.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Objectives:
The Commercial Excellence function is a pivotal team which provides the local & regional business with credible dashboards on the functioning of all sub-functions and BUs that influence sales. It also ensures it acts as a consultant to advise the business on the most viable options and help in the implementation of the sales and marketing strategy.
The function has three key deliverables namely:
- Sales force excellence
- Marketing excellence
- Risk and Compliance
Marketing Excellence:
- Tracking the implementation of initiatives and measuring their impact
- Up-to-date tracking of marketing input distribution and utilization facilities.
Sales Force Excellence:
- Tracking the implementation of marketing initiatives by all levels of field staff
- Planning, input utilization, sales training completion, attendance, etc.
- Timely incentives calculation and pay-outs
- Managing the daily reporting portal for the field staff
- Managing the end-to-end Sales Force Effectiveness function
Risk & Compliance:
Ensuring compliance and adherence to doctor visit plans, trainings, marketing strategy, budgets, utilization of marketing inputs, etc
MIS and analytics:
- Maintaining up-to-date analytics and MIS for all aspects of Sales and Marketing
- Gathering competitor data for competitive advantage
- Maintaining brand-wise prescription and sales data
