Job Overview

This is a highly entrepreneurial role that involves managing business operations, including maximizing sales and market share gain for products and/or services throughout assigned territories in the Africa, Middle East & Turkey region.

The Commercial Lead will be responsible for harmonizing, coordinating and targeting different commercial efforts across targeted countries to maximize market opportunities.

Biocon is a leading global pharmaceutical company with a strong presence in the Africa, Middle East & Turkey (AfMET) region.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our commercial efforts in this region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • BD Strategy
  • Determine strategies for selected Global Accounts to grow Biocon's API business in assigned territories
  • Build wallet share of business for Biocon API business in assigned territories

Sales and Account Management

  • Assist Regional Business Head in day-to-day activities to ensure smooth functioning of businesses and monthly order forecasting for production planning
  • Grow share of business and expand relationships within customers identifying influencers, gatekeepers, decision makers in the AfMET region
  • Deploy strong consultative selling approach with assigned accounts to identify supply chain challenges and develop value creating solutions

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

Requirements:

  • B.Pharma/B.Tech and MBA with minimum 5-8 years of relevant industry experience in API Sales and BD with exposure to AFMET market and customers
  • High energy individual with positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in hands-on, collaborative fashion with many different disciplines both inside and outside of the company
