Regional Head – Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly experienced Regional Head – Sales to lead our commercial efforts across the region in India. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to maximize market opportunities and drive business growth.
The successful candidate will have at least 15 to 20 years of relevant industry experience in API Sales and Business Development, with a strong focus on the Indian market. They will be responsible for managing business operations, including maximizing sales and market share gain for products and/or services throughout assigned regions in India.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy
- Create and implement business strategies to contribute to the company's Global Accounts growth objectives
- Determine effective BD strategies for selected accounts
- Increase wallet share of business for Biocon API in India
- Leading Sales and Account Management
- Lead day-to-day activities to ensure smooth functioning of businesses and monthly order forecasting for production planning
- Grow share of business and expand relationships within customer organizations
- Develop value-creating solutions for customers by deploying a strong consultative selling approach
- Maintain continuity of existing businesses from order receipt to shipment despatch as per customer requirements
- Co-ordinate with planning/production and logistics/shipping teams to ensure timely despatch and provision of shipping documentation
Salary:$150,000 - $200,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Requirements:
- At least 15 to 20 years of relevant industry experience in API Sales and Business Development
- Strong leadership qualities, excellent verbal and written communication skills, relationship management skills, strategic thinking, open-mindedness, and innovative thinking
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment with incomplete information
