Job Description

Job Purpose

  • The Release manager will be responsible for the managing the application deployments across primary and DR environment. Responsibility of DR , configuration management , Infosec system Audit by coordinating along with related teams of network team , Load balancer , Infosec , cloud team in accomplishing related tasks


.

Key Challenges for the role are as follows:

a) The rapidly growing business requires technology interventions that enable it to drive and sustain this growth, thereby, demanding quick turn-around on the technology solutions.

b) A comprehensive understanding of the business and its regulatory environment is important for designing relevant solutions, and for redefining requirements to align with the future roadmap of the organization.

c) Rapid obsolescence of existing technology requires the team to continuously keep abreast with changing technology trends, innovations in the market, and competitor technology landscape.

d) The team needs to be able to conceptualize and develop out of the box solutions in a rapid manner.

e) Constant endeavor to come out with new strategies on various platforms to ensure key Business targets are achieved on current and new platforms digitally.

f) There is a need to consistently track cost vs utility metrics for all business solutions deployed and ensure a healthy return on investment.

g) Rationalization and prioritization of requirements received from different business verticals needs to be managed effectively and efficiently vis-à-vis work in pipeline for the IT Applications/ vendor team.

h) A high dependency on Business Partners and predefined IT solutions results in dependency on third party providers’ ability to scale up and support own business in a timely manner.

i) The Online platforms on average have 3, 00,000 visitors on all Digital platforms. Thus building stickiness to ensure these visitors stay and transact thus have a recall factor.
