Manager, Business Development
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager with a rich experience in the Advertising/Media space. The person is expected to be well connected with advertising agencies, marketing organizations & brands teams in India. Connections in the startup space will be an added advantage. This role would also involve connecting with marketing organizations across key international markets for new business.
Responsibilities:
- Creating new business opportunities and setting up meetings with prospective clients in India & key international markets
- Grow production business through advertising/digital agency network
- Planning and preparing pitch decks
- Research & Development / Generate New Leads
- Meet or exceed targets relating to revenue growth
- Provide regular feedback to management about marketplace and competitor activity
- Monitor Digital & New Media industry trends and competitor offerings to identify potential business avenues and improve current offerings
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of business development/client management experience in advertising/media
- Strong networking skills and a great existing network across the marketing & advertising industry
- Network in international markets will be an advantage
- Rich experience in the advertising/media industry. Network in the startup space will be an added advantage
- Strong communication, conceptual thinking & business acumen
- Self-motivated, proactive and disciplined
- Updated about industry news, opportunities and trends
