Pravasi Money is Chalo Network’s one-stop platform that connects migrant borrowers with lenders.  


About the role 


We seek a Customer Success Sales Associate to join the Pravasi Money team. This person is expected to work out of our Mumbai office and closely coordinate with the core team of Pravasi Money. Their main tasks will revolve around calling potential borrowers, explaining the product offerings and providing hand-holding support on calls and WhatsApp. An ideal candidate would be based out of Mumbai, has prior experience of working in a customer facing role at a fintech company. 


Expected qualifications 

Sales Experience: Prior experience in sales, preferably in a customer-centric role, is often required. This could include experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service. 

  • Customer Service Skills: Strong customer service skills are essential for this role. This includes effectively communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and providing solutions to their problems. 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must. Customer Success Sales Associates must communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. 
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Customer success sales associates must be able to identify customer issues and find effective solutions. They should also be proactive in addressing customer concerns and ensuring their satisfaction. 
  • Technical Aptitude: The candidate should be comfortable using web forms, kobo toolbox, excel  
  • Empathy: Understanding and empathizing with customers' challenges and needs is essential for providing excellent customer service and building solid relationships. 
  • Organization and Time Management: Managing multiple client accounts and tasks simultaneously requires strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively. 
  • Analytical Skills: This role values the ability to analyse customer data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Adaptability: In a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities, customer needs, and company goals is essential. 
  • Writing and speaking proficiently in Hindi and English is mandatory 
  • Candidates with prior experience of working in fintech companies will be given a preference. It is essential for the associate to understand loan processes, origination and customer onboarding processes. 

Expected Tasks 


  • The associate will closely coordinate with the leadership team and channel partners. The associate will explain Pravasi Money offerings to migrant workers in English and Hindi. This can happen during one-on-one phone calls, WhatsApp chats, or group sessions on Google Meet. 
  • The associate will be responsible for ensuring that the worker (borrower) understands the terms and conditions of the loan process, the rate of interest, monthly EMIs, mode of repayment, etc. 
  • The associate will also provide hand-holding support to the borrower as he or she completes the onboarding form and submits essential documents. 
  • Once onboarding is complete and the loan is processed, the associate will ensure timely reminders to the employer in case of deduction at source/employee in case of E Nach mandate every month 
  • The associate will also coordinate with the point of contact (POC) of Chalo Network’s channel partners to ensure they understand the product offerings and update them on EMI deduction timelines and updates. 
  • Based on this, the associate will provide regular feedback to the leadership team to improve the customer onboarding process. 

List of activities (tentative) 


Generating leads from data provided by Chalo Network, explaining product offerings to potential borrowers, providing support in the onboarding process, providing post-sale support, and coordinating with the employer and recruiter.
