ZONAL HEAD - SOUTH (BANGALORE)


Role Summary:

  • Zonal Head will be responsible for managing sales of customer's products in the defined geographic area and ensure consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through projects business. Identify objectives, strategies and action plans to maximize short- and long-term sales & earnings and promote customer's presence in the assigned area.
  • Zonal Head will report to Vice President.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Planning and Reporting:

  • Accurately forecast annual and quarterly revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with Region Head/Zonal Head/Head –Project Vertical to develop sales strategies to improve market share in all product lines.
  • Monitor regional sales, analyse variances and develop & implement area specific sales action plans to ensure revenue growth across product categories.


Project Sales:

  • Meeting with Builders, MEP Consultants, Project Consultants, Plumbing Contractor.
  • Responsible for completing the Sales and Marketing Functions in respective region.
  • Ensuring enquiries to be generated, regular following up, interacting with clients & doing best efforts for converting enquiries in to orders, monitoring response to the enquiries from the team.
  • Will be responsible for preparing cost analysis, attending pre bid, Negotiation, Finalization.
  • Mentoring Team.


Project Approval:

  • Act as a single point to fast track approvals with National, Regional government agencies, large developers, third-party labs, and engineering consulting firms.
  • Liaise with all relevant bodies and visit their offices to build direct relationships with relevant stakeholders a) Central and State Government agencies b) Plumbing consultants and agency-appointed Project Directors (PMCs). c) National labs d) Technical teams and project sites of large EPC contractors.
  • Identify top projects and agencies for approvals and develop operating plan to obtain approvals proactively.
  • Prepare pre-approval presentations, coordinate factory visits from the government agencies & corporates.
  • Coordinate with Technical Services team to send samples to labs and project sites; follow-up with technical team of the customer’s for test results/ approvals.


Market Intelligence and Analysis:

  • Develop deep understanding of the approval process, compliance and documentation needs for different agencies.
  • Prepare and manage master document dossier for approvals submission.


Requirements:

  • More than 15 years
  • Preferred Industry, Building Material, Construction Chemicals, Tiles, Bath Fittings, Consumer Electricals, Cement, Paints, etc.
  • Education Qualification: Bachelor of Education/B.Tech (Civil/Structural/Electrical/Mechanical)


Role Specific Competences:

  • Influencing and Negotiation ability.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information. Ability to handle team.


Offer:

The CTC will be of 45 lacs INR.
