BWR is headquartered in Bengaluru and has a pan-India presence. The rating team is headed by the analytical prowess of the industry’s most experienced credit analysts, bankers, and regulators.
BWR offers rating services for Bank Loans, NCDs, Commercial Paper, Bonds, Mutual Funds, PPMLDs, and Security Receipts. BWR’s ratings have rated over 100,000 large corporations, Banks, Financial Institutions, State and local Governments, and small businesses. BWR provides investors and lenders with timely and in-depth research across structured finance, public finance, financial institutions, project finance, and corporate sectors.
Role Summary
The Senior Director contributes to organizational development by building and maintaining strong business connections in the financial services market - one of the major responsibilities. The Senior Director is responsible for mentoring and guiding the team to achieve individually and as a team in getting new business prospects, building long-standing relationships with customers, and guiding lead generation and research to assist in enhancing the Company’s business and expanding its customer base.
Primary Responsibilities
- Meeting key decision makers, decision influencers, and other senior officials to increase the visibility of Brickwork Ratings (BWR) in the financial services sector which includes meeting large corporates, banks, and key stakeholders in the public sector and Government organizations.
- Acquiring new clients through focused research and a consultative approach. Maintain continuous relationships with existing and new clients focusing on enhancing business and increasing the market share of BWR.
- Mentoring and guiding the team members in fostering client relations to enhance client base and meet their business targets.
- Inculcate discipline in the team to update the MIS reports such as client pipeline including the latest status on discussions for business acquisition.
- Be constantly updated on market developments across a portfolio of clients, competition, regulations, and best industry practices.
- Ensuring timely invoicing and ensuring prompt client payments.
- Enhance social media presence in collaboration with the digital marketing team.

- Selfless leadership skills for building the foundation of trust and loyalty among the customers and team members with a willingness to fight alongside by removing any roadblocks.
- People skills to attract, retain, and get the most out of top talent and to close big deals.
- Team building skills to establish a strong team that you can trust implicitly and motivate them to work well together and encourage an openness where all members exchange ideas for better team performance.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduation in Management / Marketing or a similar domain related to Business Development.
Experience: 18 to 25 years of prior experience in business development in the financial services domain.
